For founders with a B2B sales team

Your sales problem is a leadership problem.

Businesses often try to fix weak sales performance with more dashboards, integrations and automation. Sometimes that helps. But when the real problem is how sales is being managed, more technology gives you a clearer view of the same problem. CONVRG helps leadership agree how sales should be run, then builds that way of working into HubSpot.

The system, not us

The real problem

The RevOps trap: asking systems and operations to do the job of sales management.

Revenue operations, often called RevOps, improves the systems, data and processes around sales. Done well, it is valuable. The trap is expecting RevOps, HubSpot or another dashboard to create management discipline that leadership and managers have not agreed and led. Pipeline Drift, weak forecasts and messy CRM data can all be symptoms. Strengthen the management system first, then use HubSpot to make the standard visible and repeatable.

  • You still carry too much of the commercial judgement in your own head.
  • Two managers run a pipeline review two completely different ways.
  • You ask how the quarter looks and get three different answers.
  • The forecast gets rebuilt in a spreadsheet after the review, not during it.
  • HubSpot was configured properly. The business still runs beside it, not through it.
  • You invested heavily in HubSpot, RevOps and sales technology, but senior leaders still step into individual deals to find out what is really happening.

The antidote

The commercial goal is more sales. Everything else is how we get there.

A common mistake is to treat software plus clean data as if it automatically creates predictable revenue. It does not. A more useful commercial equation is:

More Software + Cleaner Data More Sales The RevOps Trap

Strategy, management, operations and technology are means to that end, not separate destinations. Where the constraint is upstream, we can also support demand generation through paid media, SEO, AEO, content and web. The test is not which category the work belongs to. The test is whether it addresses a real commercial constraint and supports more sales.

Why us

Operators who stay with the work, not consultants who stop at advice.

Three directors covering sales management, HubSpot delivery and demand generation, working against the same commercial outcome: a better-managed, more effective sales team that sells more.

Sales and sales transformation

Tony Dowling

Thirty years selling and managing sales teams. Tony leads the commercial diagnosis, the sales-management method and the work that defines how the business should sell, coaches the managers and holds the team to the standard.

HubSpot and delivery

Richard Underwood

Richard leads the HubSpot delivery mechanism. He turns agreed operating requirements into the technical work behind implementations, migrations, integrations, data, automation and reporting, so HubSpot reflects the way the business has agreed to operate.

Demand and growth

Mark Hullin

Mark leads demand generation across paid media, SEO, AEO, content and web. His role is to create qualified opportunities and make the business easier for the right buyers to find and understand before the sales conversation starts.

One connected chain, start to finish

Technical implementation, RevOps, training and consulting can each solve part of the problem. CONVRG connects the commercial decisions, management behaviour, system design and evidence, then wires the agreed operating model into HubSpot so the client is left with the capability, not just a configuration or a recommendation.

The method

Managers go first.

Managers use the agreed sales process, inspect the right evidence, coach against the same standards and run the team through the system before expecting everyone else to follow. We call this Management-Led Adoption. Adoption is not the goal. It is evidence that the agreed way of selling is actually being led and protected.

How it works

You can judge the work before you spend anything.

The first working session is free and stands on its own. The Transformation Room is different: if you do not want the plan, you pay nothing. If you use it, you pay £2,500 for it, whether CONVRG builds it or you take the plan forward elsewhere.

  1. 01

    Sales Operations Workshop

    Free

A working session with you and the people who lead and manage sales. We test the questions you assume are already settled: who you sell to, how deals move, what evidence matters, how managers review the pipeline and what makes the forecast believable. Where people give different answers, the problem becomes visible quickly.

  2. 02

    The Transformation Room

    £2,500if you use the plan

We get your commercial operating model out of your head and onto one page, together, in a room. If you do not want the plan, you pay nothing. If you use it, you pay £2,500 for it, whether CONVRG builds it or you take the plan forward elsewhere.

  3. 03

    The Hard Yards

    £4,000 / monththree months

The unglamorous part, and we are in it with you. The plan becomes how the business actually runs: stages, standards, reporting, automation and management reviews, built into HubSpot to the plan you signed.

  4. 04

    Ongoing Accountability and Support

    £2,000 / month30 days' notice

Support on its own goes passive. We stay to hold your managers accountable for actually running the business through the system, to protect the standard, and to keep improving it from the evidence.

If you proceed through The Hard Yards and into Ongoing Accountability and Support, the initial committed value is £16,500 excluding VAT. That includes The Transformation Room, the three-month Hard Yards build and the first month of Ongoing Accountability and Support. Integrations and anything outside the agreed plan are scoped separately.

Where we fit

Best-fit is an established, founder-led B2B specialist.

Usually fifty to two hundred people, with a real person-led sales motion, a founder still accountable for the number, and a business that has outgrown the informal way it has always sold. HubSpot is already in place, or about to be, as the shared commercial system.

The founder is who we start with, because the future commercial model and the authority to change it cannot be delegated. The wider leadership team then helps specify, operate and protect the system.

Need HubSpot implementation, migration or integrations rather than sales transformation? See our HubSpot services in Wales.

We are paid to make you need us less.

The plan, the operating rules, the management standards, the system and the evidence all belong to you. Ongoing accountability earns its place when it protects and improves what you own, never when it preserves a dependency we quietly engineered. If we have done the job, your managers run the business through the system long after we have gone.

Start with the free Sales Operations Workshop.

Bring the people who lead and manage sales. We will test whether the important sales rules are really shared, whether HubSpot reflects them and where the gaps are weakening pipeline or forecast confidence.
